The City of Vista is seeking 40 to 60 volunteers to plant 40 trees and to spread mulch in Brengle Terrace Park. Participating volunteers will spend two to four hours on Thursday, April 22 assisting in tree planting and maintaining the vegetation. The event is being held on Earth Day and the new trees will help support native wild life and minimize carbon dioxide as trees absorb gas emissions. The holes for the trees will already be dug before the volunteers arrive.
