Rattlesnake Season Heats Up With Sightings

As the weather heats up, you may see more rattlesnakes out and about. The snakes are likely venturing out searching for food and soaking in the sun. Be extra cautious outside and be aware of your surroundings, especially where you place your hands or feet or where you sit. If you encounter a rattlesnake, give it space. Calmly back away from it, leave it alone and let it go on its way.

Keeping Kids Safe Around Water

In Southern California, drowning prevention and water safety should be practiced on a year-round basis, with special emphasis during the summer months. Unfortunately, 20 seconds is all it takes for a child to drown. Vista Fire wants everyone to stay safe during any water recreational activity and encourages residents to review water safety tips.

Moonlight Sets 2018 Season

Moonlight Stage Productions has announced its 2018 season of Broadway musicals. All four musicals will be staged at the Moonlight for the first time. New subscriptions will go on sale January 2018 with single tickets on sale in March 2018.

Designated Cool Zones Help Beat the Heat

With the hot summer season expected, it’s important to have a place for seniors to stay cool. That’s where Cool Zones come in. Cool Zones are designated, air-conditioned buildings that residents can go and beat the heat in for free. The sites provide refreshing relief for older adults and others, especially for seniors and disabled persons with health problems that could be complicated by the effects of heat.
